Reading through the new Lifestory. There are several interviews, one in which Lance is asked if he would ever date a fan. His response:

"It's hard, especially with our fan base, which is mostly made up of women."

I'm not joking. He sort of manages to pull it out of the fire, but there it is ladies and gentlemen.

I was telling Missi that he should just give it up and come out, if half of BSB can be married and sell records that nsync can afford one gay member. Especially since it wouldn't surprise anyone, he'd be the Rosie of the pop world.

Pretty much. In fact, it'd be so unsurprising it'd almost be a reason *not* to come out, just because it'd be treated as a joke instead of any sort of progress. You can just picture Leno and Letterman with the obvious 'in news today, a boy band member announced he's gay. in other news, the pope announced he's catholic' sort of jokes.
