Got my time off approved for Escapade. This is remarkable as I only put in the request this past Tuesday and they usually take two or three weeks to get back to me.
$347 for airfair. Ouch! Especially when you consider that for another $250 I could fly to Rome. I know this because one of my patients decided she wants to go to Italy and asked me to check for her. She's a little nutty and they tell us we're not supposed to humor them, but it seemed the only way to get her off my back and the number for American Airlines was toll free. Still wondering why an international flight is so cheap and a domestic one is so expensive. But what can you do?
