Cool

Tracie Thoms has been cast as Joanne in the RENT movie. This makes me happy. Not only because that means the scary rumor about them casting a white woman was wrong, but also because she was one of my favorite parts about Wonderfalls (any word on a DVD release of that btw?).

I'm still not sure it'll be a good movie. I'm still not sure a good film adaptation of RENT is possible, let alone one that's directed by Chris Columbus, but at least the cast is talented.
