Well, that news could have been better.

Casting news for M. Night Shyamalan's live action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Not quite what I was hoping for. Those are some awfully pale actors playing Sokka and Katara. Also, the thought of Jesse McCartney as Zuko is a frightening one. I hope that doesn't pan out.

I know it's just a tv show

I know it's just a TV show, but several hours after hearing the news I'm still incredibly irritated at the notion of a skinny white boy (pretty though he may be) playing Sokka.
