I downloaded one of the Seventh Doctor audio dramas (The Harvest). I've never really listened to audio drama before. It's pretty cool. And if this is any indication of what the Seventh Doctor is like, I'll have to get some DVDs.

Also, I really like Hex. Hex is cool. Hex needs to be on the TV show. ( If only because he's so damn pretty )

Just watched Doctor Who. But more to the point, I just watched the teaser for next week.

Sci-Fi Channel to air Doctor Who starting in March!!!

Unfortunately this means the US DVD release is being pushed back until July 4. Though Amazon.ca apparently still has a release date of Feb 14.

Still running high with the Doctor Who love. I can't wait until caorann comes back from Vermont so I can force her to watch it show it to her. And it's not just for Captain Jack and the rampant gayness. I loved it before all that. He's just icing on the cake.

So, I dl'd an episode (I think it was the first one) of the new Dr. Who. Now, bear in mind that my only previous exposure to Dr. Who ended in my being traumatized by a talking disembodied head at the age of seven. That's not a trauma you get over quickly, especially when your aunt takes you to see Return to Oz the very next year. I say this so you understand what it took psychologically for me to even watch it.

This show is f-ing awesome. I'm currently attempting to download more (slow going since I never mastered torrents and get most of my stuff from WinMX). But damn, I don't want to wait for more. Why isn't this on TV here? Not even BBC America. It's witty and clever and the Doctor is hot in that dorky and not at all cute way that some British guys seem to be that American guys can never manage to pull off.
