Awesomeness

So I finally got my new schedule for work. I officially start the week of 1/6, but I'm sort of transitioning next week. The cool part: I'm off Saturday when I thought I'd have to work. I'm off Christmas day and the day after and Christmas Eve will be a 7-3 day. Also I'm off four days in a row from 12/29-1/1. So I'll be off for my big 3-0, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Even more awesome, lanchid and natlyn are coming up for New Year's and lanchid and I have plans to go see Legally Blonde! We may also see Wicked, but only if we can get lotto. Broadway tickets are expensive.

Also, next month I have plans with Doug to go see Die, Mommie Die. Mostly for this, but also because it's supposed to be hilarious.

I finally came up with a gift idea for my grandmother, one so brilliant in its simplicity that I could kick myself for not thinking of sooner. Still totally lost on my grandfather though.

Feel free to offer an opinion.

So, like I said natlyn and lanchid are coming to visit for my birthday. I've also invited sorka42, starbuck3614, and Doug. And while I think going out with my friends to make the most of turning 30 sounds really cool, I also would like to see my family. So I was thinking that if we all went to dinner that maybe my parents and sister could be there too. But then I think I'm not too sure I want my worlds colliding like that.
