So, like I said [livejournal.com profile] natlyn and [livejournal.com profile] lanchid are coming to visit for my birthday. I've also invited [livejournal.com profile] sorka42, [livejournal.com profile] starbuck3614, and Doug. And while I think going out with my friends to make the most of turning 30 sounds really cool, I also would like to see my family. So I was thinking that if we all went to dinner that maybe my parents and sister could be there too. But then I think I'm not too sure I want my worlds colliding like that.

Thoughts?

I think the girls (and Doug) are mature enough that it should be okay....

(Uh, also? My package may be a bit late....)

Honestly, I'm more concerned with my family's behavior than I am about my friends'.

Well, having met your family, i really don't see a problem there. I think we could all have a nice time together.

I am of two minds: (1) OMG new people, noooooo! (2) Sure, whatever makes you happy.

If I were you, I'd go with number 2 (1 is just a kneejerk reaction that I even have about cons).
