Kitty's home!

Sid is home from the vet. Once they opened him up they determined that they didn't need to do as involved a procedure as they thought they would. I have to take him back in two weeks to have his stitches out and the poor baby has to wear one of those collars to keep him from licking himself. But he's feeling much better.

Thanks to everyone for their well-wishes.

We're glad to hear that Sid is at home and that the surgery was not as drastic as initially proposed. He is an only cat, though, or will he have to bear being mocked for his elizabethan collar by other pets? I can only imagine the hatred and discontent that would ensue in my house if one of the three were so afflicted. However, better that than the alternative. Lots of ear scritches for Sid and a hug for you, too. Jody and Jen
