brak666: (Oh no!.)

Clearly, I have gone mad.

I worked 7a-3p today. I got a call around 6 wanting to know if I would work 11p-7a tonight. I told them I'd think about it. I'm not really sure why, but when they called back, I said yes (note the subject of this entry). Anyway, this means I won't be working 11a-7p tomorrow (though they seemed surprised that I would want it off when I asked about it). I'm trying to look at the bright side here. I'm working 7-3 on Friday, so I'll have to get up early tomorrow afternoon rather than sleep until 2pm like I normally would, so I'll actually have something resembling a day off tomorrow.

Friday was supposed to be my day off, but a high credit card bill this month and a general lack of funds convinced me to take the extra hours when they offered them (I'll also be working an extra two hours on Saturday). All this by way of saying I was looking at a six-day stretch, so this sort-of day off is not entirely unwelcome. Though I'm not quite sure how I'll stay awake. I got up at 5:45 this morning.

Wish me luck.

Wow! They actually thought you would work 11pm-7am and then come back 11am-7pm? That's insane.

I kind of got the feeling that they hadn't thought that far ahead. But yeah, considering I don't get home from work until after 8 in the morning it's a little unrealistic.
