The Golden Compass

Picked up my Hairspray DVD today (Have I ever mentioned my huge crush on Brian the Suncoast guy?). It comes with an absolutely awesome (and really long) trailer for The Golden Compass. I am SO excited for this movie. It's just so visually stunning and if I enjoy it half as much as I enjoyed the book it'll still be awesome. Everyone in the cast looks just perfect. Especially Eva Green who looks absolutely gorgeous as Seraffina Pekkala.

I think The Golden Compass looks amazing. Nicole Kidman is great castinng, even if she doesn't look exactly like what I think the character should look like. She has the right air about her.

I think Nicole Kidman will be perfect. She has that perfect mixture of beautiful allure and calculating evil that Mrs. Coulter needs.
