So this is my annual post complaining about the fact that my whole god damn family (and ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
caorann) have birthdays in December. Also, that my grandparents are impossible to shop for.
Yesterday sucked. I had to work 7-3. We had a horrible snowstorm. I stayed over at my parents' house and had my mom drive me in because her car is better in snow than mine. It was a bad day to begin with. And then one of the 3-11 nurses called out. At 10-frickin'-30 in the morning! She's all "I can't come in. The road is too icy." And I'm all "Icy? The roads weren't even plowed when I came in. And also the roads will be clear by 2." But she was insistent. So, of course I had to stay late. I was pissed. I'm tired of getting the short end because I'm responsible.
In other news I've got 90% of my Christmas/birthday shopping done. I've had the worst sinus headache in the history of ever today. I had to buy sudafed today. It's the first time since the law changed and you have to get it from the pharmacist. I'm a little pissed off about that too. I know people use it to make Meth, but I'm not going to use it to make Meth. And I know there's no way anyone can know that, but I'm a libertarian at heart, and it irks me. Now that I've had sign a paper informing the government of my desire for clear sinuses, all I want to do with it is make Meth. Ron Paul for President!
