Lucky I called my dad today to see if he wanted to go furniture shopping with me. I completely forgot it was Ash Wednesday!

I can't believe I never noticed before.

So, I've been obsessively listening to my ill-gotten copy of The Little Mermaid cast recording. And I can't believe I've never noticed before. 'Poor Unfortunate Souls' has the same rhythmic pattern as a Limerick.

Try it. It works:

I admit that in the past I've been a nasty.
They weren't kidding when the called me, well, a witch.
But you'll find that nowadays
I've mended all my ways.
Repented, seen the light, and made a switch.

Escapade

I've been hesitant to say anything because I didn't want to tempt fate. But now, all my ducks are officially in a row and I'm happy to say that I'll be attending Escapade this year!

Awesome discovery of the day

My new laptop has a reader for SD cards. Right there in the front where you never look. Now I don't have to use realplayer's crappy interface to put music onto my palm pilot. I just plug the card in, and copy and paste! It's like, 100 times easier.
