Breast Cancer Petition

My aunt who is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer sent me this link to a petition at Lifetime. It's in favor of a bill that will require insurance companies to pay for at least a 48 hour hospital stay following mastectomy. Most insurance companies will only cover mastectomy as a same day procedure even over doctors' objections and many women are sent home before they're physically and psychologically ready. Take a minute to fill out this petition in support of this legislation.

You know you can count on me when it comes to something regarding breast cancer. I'm turning into a true activist for that cause. ;) Hope this helps and I'll keep your Aunt in my thoughts and prayers.
