Microsoft sucks

So after refusing for months, I finally caved and downloaded IE7. I was smart and didn't put it on both computers. Just the desktop. But now whenever I try to open IE, it locks up. Not the computer, just the program. Anyone else have this problem? And if so, how did you fix it? Friday is my off day so I'll probably just take it to my father then, but if anyoene has any suggestions I'd be grateful.

Sorry. I had an IE problem where it broke the Quickbooks installer. I ended up reformatting and reinstalling everything. It was mostly ok because it was a new computer that I was setting up. I have been sure to turn off automatic updates on all XP computers that I come into contact with since, because MS marks it as a "critical update."
