As The World Turns spoilery talk



So, it turns out that not to be outdone by Noah's fake wife, Luke is going to get himself a fake boyfriend. In the person of Casey Hughes. It sounds like it's going to be very 'screwball comedy'. The amount of glee this is causing me is boundless, let me tell you. First of all, big fan of irony that I am, the idea of Luke even fake dating Maddie's ex is just too awesome for me not to love it. Also, Casey "dating" Luke opens up all kinds of opportunities for prison sex jokes. Though if they never went there with Matt, I doubt they'll go there now (and just as an aside, I can't be the only person who's been thinking of Matt/Casey as Masey 2.0 can I?). And Casey is just a slashy sort of guy in general. Then there's just the pure hotness of it.

I mean Casey is gorgeous.



And then there's Luke.

The people at vanhansis.net are all: "They better not kiss!" and on the one hand, I can see how that would be really annoying with everything that's been going on. But on the other. Oh, the hotness!!

Plus there's comedy to be mined. I've had this scenario floating around in my head where Casey turns to Luke and says "I'm about to do something crazy. Just go with it." and then plants a big wet one on him, and when they're all done Luke kinda just puts his hand to his mouth and says "wow" really quietly. Years later when Maddie's back on the show she can say something about what a good kisser Casey was and Luke can be all "Totally" and she and Noah can both be hilariously surprised.

And the best part about the whole thing? The pairing name. CAKE!!!
Comedy gold, man. I'm telling you.

Okay, Luke getting a fake boyfriend to go with Noah marrying Ameera so she can get her green card ALMOST makes up for how boring the whole thing has been so far. Almost.

I don't see any way that this cannot be incredibly amusing for me. It's gonna be this big screwball quad with Noah and Luke wanting to be together, and Ameera and Casey wanting to be together, and each one having to pretend to be in love with the other. The only way it could get funnier is if crossdressing were involved. And maybe it makes me a bad fan, but I really want to see Luke and Casey kiss. At least once.

It has serious potential and I really hope they don't screw it up.

And maybe it makes me a bad fan, but I really want to see Luke and Casey kiss. At least once.

I would love to see Luke and Casey kiss, if only for the freakout from fans that would ensue.

I know! Poor Maddie. I hope she meets a nice 100% hetero man in Connecticut. She deserves to be happy.

I have to start watching this again - I used to love ATWT. I started watching right before they introduced Holden Snyder and the Snyder hot boy farm Clan back in the day.

I've watched some clips on youtube of when Holden first came on the show. And wow, is that dude a much better actor now!

Also, Casey is hot and I like him, but I'm still going to be pissed if Allison doesn't get a boyfriend who treats her right, and soon! Stupid Aaron.

Boy totally needed a dickslap for that, man. Anyone who would choose whiny-ass Sophie over kick-ass Allie? Needs his fucking head examined. Preferably with a rock. . .

I totally want Casey and Luke to kiss, too. Especially if Casey ended up liking it, and they made it a hot threesome! :D
