That is the note I'm singing, Jeff.

I've been listening to my [title of show] recording a lot and thinking about what an awesome show it was and how lucky I feel to have been able to see it twice and to be there for the closing performance. But something else hit me today.

For some reason, I feel really really lucky to be able to say that I saw Heidi Blickenstaff in 'The Little Mermaid'.

I wanted to see The Little Mermaid when I was in NY last fall, but unfortunately they closed down because of the strike. Then when I returned this summer, I ended up going to see Avenue Q instead. I didn't know if Mermaid would be as good as some of the other Disney musicals on Broadway have been, but you can't beat the music. It's contagious! LOL

I haven't actually seen any of the other Disney musicals. I really enjoyed The Little Mermaid though. Sherie Rene Scott played Ursula (I'm not sure if she's still with the show) and she was fabulous. You should see it if you get the chance. I did a little review when I saw it. You can read it here.

Thanks! It's so funny that you mentioned Ursula in your review, because when I first heard about the musical, it was on a show like ET, and they were showing the actors in wardrobe/makeup, and when I saw what they did to Ursula, I was so impressed I knew right then that I wanted to see it. I'll definitely have to check it out in NY.

Heidi is amazing and I can't understand how she hasn't had a great role before now.
