The Middleman was a series that ran this summer on ABC Family. It's a great show. You should get ahold of it if you can. It's really geeky and funny and has a great cast. Anyway, it tells the story of the titular Middleman and his sidekick Wendy Watson who "solve exotic problems". One episode dealt with the revelation that the boy band Varsity Fanclub are actually five exiled alien dictators who are plotting to destroy the Earth in order to return home.
