Spring Awakening

I took my cousin to see Spring Awakening today. It was a wonderful show. I'm so glad I got to see it before it closes. That Hunter Parrish sure is a cutie, but I would've appreciated it if his range was a bit higher. My cousin enjoyed it too, and I'm sure it was nice for her to get out of the house for a while. Things are a bit difficult for her at home right now.

I braved a nasty snow storm so as not to have to spend the night at my grandparents' house. That would've been dreadful.

I've heard so many good things about Spring Awakening but for some reason it didn't appeal to me so I didn't see it even though I was in the city twice this year. Maybe I would have enjoyed it. I saw a video with Hunter talking about his role, trying to get people to come see the show, and he was like, "You get to see my butt" LOL. What other musical(s) would you compare it to, in terms of the play itself and/or the music?

I am glad you had a good time and glad she did as well.

And thank goodness you are home safe and sound!
