Ok, this whole Facebook thing is getting a little out of hand.

Why are all my sister's friends friending me on Facebook? Some of them I haven't seen in years and even the ones I still run into, I hardly talk to. I don't get it.

Tell me about it! I've been friended by my sister's friends, but worse is that MY friends are friending my sisters! AHHHHHHHH. Stop the madness!

My parents' friends friend me. And my friends' parents. And that's why I never log into Facebook.

I don't know what I'm going to do if my mother ever figures out how to do anything besides shop online.

my father - who i have negative contact with - has friended my wife (who wants to slap him upside the head with a brick) and various other friends of mine. It's WEIRD!

I have lots of work friends on Facebook. I use it as my public blog.

I've never had a public blog. It's a little freaky. I keep forgetting that these people actually know who I am. For example, I accidently came out to three of my cousins.

The nice thing about Facebook is it's micro-blogging; you can't get too detailed. Like we do sometimes here. I would never post the things I do here to Facebook, this is much more intimate to me.

Remember, you have the power not to friend back which I've found very comforting when random people (like the one boy I kissed and did some other things with when I was 16 who then bragged about it at school) pop up and are like, "Hi how are you?"

I look at it and cackle "You were an emo douche then. I still hate you." This works for me.

Oh, believe me I know. There's this guy I went to high school with who keeps trying to add me and really, that part of my life is over, thank you. Honestly, I don't really mind if my sister's friends want to add me. They're all ok people. I just don't understand why they'd want to.

I still don't understand Facebook.

Maybe sometime you can talk me through getting one? Setting on up?
