Just adding my voice to the chorus of people who were actually there and saying that the screaming that went on was not inappropriate to the occasion and Joey was not the only one who got screamed for. He got a few screams at the very beginning, but the rest of the time it was for everyone. Mimi got screams. Roger got screams. Maureen got screams. The whole cast got screamed for on several occasions and at no time did I feel as though it was inappropriate. There were some flashes going off, but it was like ten pictures and only during one song. I don't regularly cruise the JJB or the RENT boards, but from what I hear it's being blown way out of proportion. I just wanted to set the record straight here in my little corner of the net.
