Not sure about this one. It's kind of John Woo meets Smallville, and I don't know how I feel about that. I think it warrants further viewing, but I'm not sure for how much longer. I think it could've done with a two hour premiere that embraced all the characters equally. There's a lot of flash and some attempts at substance that don't quite make it, but I think they can do it if they keep working at it. I'll give it a month just to see how it works out. I see mild slash potential. Unfortunately it's not between males. Well, maybe a little between the guys, but not really.
Is it just me or has a cell phone ringing at an inopportune moment come to replace the snapping twig while sneaking up on someone in the woods? And when you're being all covert and sneaky trying to get the jump on the man who killed your father why do you take your cell phone with you? If you do take it with you, you should at least turn it off.
