Well, damn

I know I bought the chest and spent all of Sunday putting it together so I'd have a place to put our extra blankets where the cats couldn't sleep on them and get their hair all over them. But dammit if Sid Vicious isn't just the cutest thing in the world curled up in the chest sleeping on my blankets. I don't even have the heart to close the top.

Help! I'm being attacked by Democrats!

They sent me a bumper sticker and a big ol' sticker to put in my window proudly proclaiming that I vote Democrat. The truth is I do usually vote Democrat though I'm generally far more Republican than I like to admit. But this is not an area where you want to advertise that you vote Democrat. I've opened three pieces of mail TODAY from the DNC asking me for money. Apparently it is vital to the protection of the US economy that I send the Democrats money.

Ya'll are cheating yourselves out of 37 cents

Dear Lamda Legal, DNC, ACLU, and any of the various other charity/political organizations that regularly send me mail asking for money,

I'd be more inclined to give you money if you paid the postage for me to send the check to you. Those of you who don't get dismissed out of hand for being cheap bastards are cheating yourself out of an extra 37 cents.
