( I found myself in a desert called Cyberland )Yesterday, Dec, 6 was Amy Ehrlich's last show with RENT. I'm taking Karen today for her birthday. I'm disappointed I didn't get to see her one more time. We were going to go the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, but Karen's mom was visiting and we all had varying degrees of colds. She wasn't the best singer in the world, but she was a really sweet girl. I saw her play Maureen and afterward, she signed my 'Moo with me' stuffed cow. She just thought that was the coolest thing. Then when we told her that we were from the Allentown, PA area she got all excited because "That's where Peggy Sawyer is from in 42nd Street!" And that was when I knew I would love her forever. And ever since that day, she remembered us and would give us a big smile and wave whenever she saw us. She'd congratulate us for winning lottery, and always thank us for coming to the show. We'd ask her if she knew if she was going to do Maureen again and she'd get this dreamy look in her eyes and tell us she didn't know for sure, but she was hoping she'd get to do it one more time. I'm gonna miss her.
( Quiz results. Again, not too terribly surprised. )
