An evening at the theater.

Literally. The entire evening. And late afternoon too. It started with the choir concert. The first of two(our second is tomorrow). It went well. Far better than dress rehearsal indicated it would have. Then following the concert (which was very short this go round) I did a quick change out of my tux and Karen(who didn't bring a change) and I drove to the other side of New Jersey to see theboyy in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Damn was he fabulous! The rest of the cast? Well, I couldn't really hear them very well(they were having some mic issues). Bryan seems to have pretty good projection regardless, though it helped that his mic was malfunctioning the least. Great dancing though, from everyone, especially the kid who did the backflips. And the camel just cracked me up.

We hung out with Bryan for a bit, but he had a cast party to get to, and we had a state to drive across. We only got lost once on the way home, and I discovered that the people of Montclair, NJ consider red lights optional.

Finally got home about fifteen minutes ago, and I'm cooking now since I haven't had a meal since...well, it's offically since yesterday morning, but I'll say this morning since I haven't gone to bed yet.

Also...Half nekkid Bryan is sending me to the special hell.

Southern Girl always makes me think of shinetheway. It's a satiric look at life in the deep south through the eyes of a modern educated woman.

If I Were Me has become a personal anthem of mine. It's about being yourself, and doing what makes you happy no matter what anyone else says. Or at least the desire to do so.

So, I have to grudgingly admit that I'm finding Justin with facial hair(now that he can grow it properly) pretty damn irresistible.
