The countdown app from the X2 website has just informed me that the movie novelization is now in stores. Do I want to buy it? On the one hand it would mean not having to wait until May 2nd to find out what everything I've been seeing on the trailers means. On the other I'd go into the movie knowing everything that was going to happen.

Do I go for instant gratification, or do I wait?

I'm torn here.

So I keep seeing things in people's LJ's about CFTC this year. Where is this info coming from? And when and where is it? I checked nsync.com and there's nothing about it there.

Just got back from Chicago. I really liked it. I liked the play better, but I liked the movie. I've never really seen the appeal of Richard Gere, and this movie...well, it doesn't do anything to change my mind about that, but I enjoyed it just the same. The Cell Block Tango was awesome and I really enjoyed Queen Latifah. Renee and Catherine were good. But two casting choices really stood out for me.

Christine Baranski as Mary Sunshine. Anyone who's seen the play knows why this is weird, but that's beside the point. Why didn't anyone tell me she was in this? I love her. I worship her. I go to movies I don't know she's supposed to be in and I let out little girly squeaks when she comes on screen for the first time. And it happens all the god damned time. Jeffrey, The Birdcage, The Grinch there I am just happily watching a movie when she comes on and I squeak like a girl. It's embarassing.

John C. Reilly as Amos. Absolutely perfect. I sat up in my seat and almost yelled out Hey! It's that guy! Casting a HITG as Amos. Perfection.
