Grrrrrr

My PC, which has been buggy for weeks, has finally become so unstable that it just doesn't work. It started today when I tried to upgraid AIM. The intall program locked up when ZoneAlarm asked me if I wanted to allow it access to the net. Then ZoneAlarm locked up. All of this resulted in the program only being partially installed, but did the computer recognize this? Of course not. So, I uninstalled it completely figuring I'd go to AOL.com and download the newest version. Well, uninstalling AIM seems to have done something that prevents IE from accessing the net. Not only that, but my computer refused to turn off. This has actually been an on-going problem. I tell it to shut down, the screen goes all dark and it just sits there refusing to close Windows. I end up having to unplug it, because oddly enough my computer only has an on button, not an on/off button. I think it's time to take it into the shop (read Dad's house), and it's times like these I'm thankful I decided to spend money on a laptop.
