Now for the update. Work is pretty good right now. We've got some really frustrating patients right now, but administration seems to have calmed down a bit. They want me to work Mondays. Not permanantly, but for the next few weeks. I told them I could maybe do some 7-11's but I really don't want to.
Mondays have become my social night. I've been attending the GLBT group at my old community college, and it's been really nice hanging with actual gay people. Even nicer being able to spend time socially with real, honest to God males. Now, I love each and every one of my friends, and I love spending time with them. They're wonderful, kind, funny, amazing people. But sometimes the estrogen gets to be a bit much. It's nice to hang with guys. One of the guys is really into FFXI so we spend a lot of time doing that too, and really the game is much more fun that way.
And speaking of my friends, I have the most wonderful friends in the world. Two different people, aware of my financial situation, took it upon themselves to buy me tickets to JC in May. I'm just so grateful I have people like that in my life. Also, it was very nice to hear fromcaroann and lanchid how much I was missed at ConneXions. (I've got lots of comments to answer in that regard.) I missed seeing everyone there as well.
The cat is doing well. I take him to have his stitches out on Monday. He's back to his evil self. Not only did he manage to get his E-collar off, but he hid it somewhere. Seriouslycaorann and I have looked all over the house and we can't find it. It's all pretty well healed now so I don't think he'll be doing any excessive licking. I do know how to keep an eye on an incision afterall.
Lastly: Tony Lucca's blog is back online. Woo! I'd really like to get to see him, but he's touring the country and his only upcoming appearance near me is on a day I can't get off from work.
