Animated Five

1. What was the latest animated movie you've seen? Did you like it? Shrek 2. I loved it. Will probably see it again this weekend. Next weekend too if things go according to plan.

2. What is your all time favorite animated film? It's a toss up between Beauty and the Beast and Lilo & Stitch.

3. Which animated film would you be most willing to buy or see as a re-release in the theatre? I don't know if I would go to the theater to see it again, but I'm practically twitching in anticipation of the inevitable DVD release of The Little Mermaid.

4. What is your favorite animated film soundtrack? Not sure. Both Shrek movies have great soundtracks, but I do love Beauty and the Beast a lot. I also really love the music from the various Sailor Moon movies.

5. What animated films do you read or write? None.

Stuff

It's been a weird week. I've been going through a lot of stuff. Mostly personal. Some of it mine, some of it other peoples. Two of my friends just broke up. I wouldn't call it a bad break up. More of a break up with complications. It's hard when people you care about are in pain and there isn't much you can do to help. Also my Aunt Susan is coming to visit from Australia this week. For those of you who don't know, Aunt Susan has Inflammatory Breast Cancer. Things aren't very hopeful. So emotions are running high in preparatation for her visit and will probably be running high most of next week.

I'm starting to feel a little overwhealmed. Between work and family and friends there's so many people who need me to be strong right now that I'm not sure who to turn to. Unofficially, I have some time off this week. I hope to get official word today. Amy is coming next weekend which will be nice. Hopefully I'll have some time to regroup emotionally. There's a bit more going on and I may do a private entry later, but for now I've got to get to work.
