groan

Just got home from work with a quick stopover at the grocery store. We got two admissions in the last hour and a half of my shift and they were expecting two more on 3-11(which had one nurse the whole shift). So I stayed to help finish up the admission and did half the first med pass. The really sucky thing is that three of the admissions had been scheduled to arrive during day shift but kept getting pushed back. I'll tell you that's one thing I don't miss at all about 3-11. Now I'm just waiting for my chicken to heat and for reruns of CSI on Spike.
