Stuff I got done

Finally got around to getting my new driver's license this weekend.

Took Mom to see RENT on Sunday. She really liked it. We tried for the Wicked lotto, but (surprise, surprise) we didn't get it. Anyway, it turned out that Idina Menzel was not able to perform in what would have been her last show on Sunday. Apparently she was injured during the matinee performance on Saturday and couldn't do the evening performance then either. Fractured rib. Ouch. I hope she's better soon. They're supposed to start filming the RENT movie soon. Anyway, RENT was cool. Drew Lachey is really short. I mean damn. That boy is teeny weeny.

Reserved my plane tickets and hotel for Escapade.

Worked a lot. I was there until 9:30 on Friday and stayed an extra hour today. I hope things are a little calmer tomorrow.

Netflix

gblvr sent me an invite to her netflix friends list, so I decided to bite the bullet and join. Currently in my queue are All Over the Guy, The Wedding Banquet, and Saved!. I also added Latter Days to my rec list. Then I checked the Netflix recomendation page and checked 'not interested' for the two seasons of Queer as Folk:US it recced to me.

Somewhere an algorithym is scratching its virtual head in confusion.
