Technical difficulties

So, I had Thursday off because I'm working today (Saturday). And really that's just as well because work wouldn't have let me take a bereavement day for a fictional character. I spent the day cleaning off the entertainment center and moving it away from the wall. Then I attempted to hook up the Tivo. Well, it's not quite compatable with my sattellite receiver. So I called up Dish Network and I'll have a receiver that will work with it in 5-10 business days.

In the 'I love my father' category:

That same day I went to mom and dad's for dinner. I was sitting with dad in his home office and I mentioned to him that I was thinking of getting a new PDA. He responded by picking a Palm M500 off the table and handing it to me saying "Do you want this one?" I love it. I do need to go back and get the charger from him on Sunday.

Now, it's time to drink coffee and go to work.
