I had a wonderful weekend. sorka42 and starbuck3614 came to visit for the weekend and we finally all exchanged Christmas presents. We also did a lot of shopping and I spent lots of money. LOTS of money. I really, really, really wanted the playable demo of Final Fantasy XII that came with Dragon Quest VIII. So I bought that. Luckily, Dragon Quest VIII has turned out to be quite enjoyable. I also picked up some CDs. It seems they've finally released a soudtrack to Connie and Carla. I also picked up some Dave Matthews Band and the 2000 off-broadway cast recording of Godspell, which is beyond phenomenal. Not just because of Shoshana Bean and her rocking turn in Bless the Lord, but for the whole cast. They've done some really cool things to update it.

Oh yeah, and remember how I wasn't going to buy anymore Ultimate X-Men until February? Well, I lied. I got volumes 3, 4, and 5. I would've bought more, but I can't find them in stores. As long as I have to order them, I'm ok, but if they're actually in front of me there's no way I can resist. Though I have a feeling I'm going to have to start buying individual issues soon, because eventually I'm going to catch up and I won't want to wait for the next trade paperback. I SO didn't need a new fandom.
