Of the good:
Of the bad:
- I had my evaluation at work yesterday. During said evaluation my Unit Manager told me that I was the smartest nurse she had and intimated that should she ever leave she would reccomend me to replace her.
- Now that said evaluation is completed I will be getting my annual COL raise retroactive to 2/17
- Yesterday I made a plan to clean up the living and dining areas and today I actually carried the plan out. There was a floor under all that stuff. Who knew?
- I went to Suncoast looking for a birthday gift for Doug and Brian was working there! Brian used to work at the Suncoast in Phillipsburg Mall before it closed but I haven't seen him since. He is my very favorite movie seller because he knows what to reccomend and more importantly what NOT to reccomend. For example, the last time I went there the guy reccomended I reserve 'United 93' and buy a subscription to Sports Illustrated. And I literally thought "If Brian was here he wouldn't have reccomended those".
- While at Suncoast I finally broke down and bought season 2 of the new Doctor Who (unfortunate rhyme trifecta) and it turned out to be on sale. It wasn't labeled that way but it came up that way in the computer.
- I don't know if I've mentioned it here before but I've been on NutriSystem. It seems to be working. I've lost nine pounds in two weeks and had to buy smaller pants.
Of the bad:
- I don't acutally want my boss's job, and in fact don't want her to leave. She's the best Unit Manager I've ever had.
- I was not able to find what I had in mind for Doug at Suncoast and will probably have to order it, and it likely won't be here in time.
- Just because Doctor Who was on sale doesn't mean it was cheap. Ouch!
- I've been getting this shooting, burning pain from my right shoulder, up the side of my neck and into my right ear lobe. I've been thinking of trying an accupuncturist.
- I'm planning to celebrate the afore mentioned weight loss by having a big ass St. Patrick's Day dinner. So far only one of the people I've invited has responded and he's a 'maybe'.
- It's not even Spring yet and already it was warm enough today to necessitate use of the air conditoner.
