On Sunday Doug and I made plans to see Batman after I got out of work. I mentioned this to some co-workers who were apparently bigger Heath fans than I'd ever realized. They couldn't get over the fact that I'd never seen Brokeback Mountain (side note: I am out at work). I didn't know how to explain my issues with Brokeback without giving them a 2 hour lecture on the history of American gay cinema.
Batman itself was pretty good. It's actually the first thing I've seen Heath in since 'Roar' got cancelled. His Joker was incredibly creepy, which I liked. I think it ran a bit long though. And Doug was on time, which never happens. He's usually on gay time.
There was a 'Watchmen' trailer and it looked kickass.
Logged onto my flist when I got home to learn that Estelle Getty passed away. I think I need to rent me some Golden Girls.
