ups and downs

My parents were supposed to be getting home from their vacaton around now. Unfortunately their flight was delayed. As a matter of fact, I just got a text from my dad that they just arrived in DC. All of this by way of saying that I'm going to have to be up pretty damn late tonight to pick them up.

I don't know if I've mentioned this yet, but I'm on vacation. EMC is this weekend, so that should be fun. Next weekend I'm back to work, but on Sunday I've got a ticket for the last performance of [title of show]. It's gonna be close getting there on time after work, but I think I can make it.
