So yeah. As I mentioned last night I went to NYC to see Van Hansis in Dance Dance Revolution the Musical. It was awesome. And so incredibly gay. And Van was totally hot in his shiny silver short shorts, eye make-up and body glitter. I went with Doug. Before the show we hung around midtown for a while. We looked at the tree in Rockefeller Center which is a bit shorter and not quite as impressive as last year's. I think I remember hearing something about the top falling off during transport. While we were in the city we met up with an old friend of Doug's who took us to this great restaurant in Soho. Unfortunately with my horrible sense of direction I probably wouldn't be able to find it again if my life depended on it. We also spent some time browsing in Saks. I saw this leather jacket that looked absolutely awesome. But not $1700 worth of awesome.
And because I can I will recount for you a humorous conversation I had with Doug at the bus stop:
Doug: (adjusting his man bag) I've got to make sure it's hanging in the same direction as my scarf.
Me: You are so gay.
Doug: (pulling at pants) Gah! Damn boxer briefs!
Me: *chokes on coffee*
Got home pretty damn late (or early) then had to work. I told my mother I'd go with her tonight to her company Christmas party. I don't know why I did that. It's gonna be another late night/early morning combo for me.
