Boy, I sure hope the people who didn't want to spoiled about the identity of the 11th Doctor didn't look at the LJ home page today.
So, I really need to go to Motor Vehicles and get my new license. I did the application online, but I actually have to go in and get my picture taken. I have the day off, so I kind of planned to do it today. But then I decided I'd rather stay home and play Final Fantasy XI. Only they're shutting down for sever maintenance this afternoon.
Guess I ought to go be responsible.

DMV wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It actually all went pretty smoothly.
So this afternoon I finally got around to watching Socket. It was ok. Sort of weird and a bit silly, but sexy. I think this movie really ought to have swapped endings with 'In the Blood'. 'In the Blood' really could've used a more ambiguous ending where Cassidy was alive, but you didn't really know what would become of him whereas 'Socket' really could've killed off one or both of its leads and still made a pretty good ending. But did I mention it was sexy? Because hot damn! I wasn't expecting the full frontal, but it was much appreciated.
I really only rented this movie for one reason. I'll watch pretty much anything Matthew Montgomery is in (I'm drawing the line at Fear House though). He's cute as hell, but that's not what draws me in. There's just something about his acting style that I find very winning. There's a charm to him that I can't pin down, what the French call a certain "I don't know what". Anyway, he's very watchable is what I think I'm trying to say here.
You should check out his movies if you can ahold of them. He's pretty much made a career of gay indy movies, so they're not all good. But he's always good in them.

So I tried Axe's new 'Clean Cut' style hair gel today. The package promises that it will neither make your hair crunchy, nor will it leave you with a perpetually wet look. It succeeds on both counts. Unfortunately, it rather leaves one's hair feeling as though one has styled his hair with 3-day old bacon grease. That said, I may use it again since it holds better than Suave for Men and doesn't leave me with that molded plastic Ken Doll look like Got 2B Glued.
