1) What is the next convention you plan to attend? How far will you have to travel for it?
Probably Eclecticon. It's about 50 miles away or so.
2) How many conventions have you attended and what do you do while at a con?
I've been going to the same three or four each year since 1997. I go to panels. Sometimes I moderate. I always check out the dealers' room several times over the course of the weekend. But generally there's just a lot of hanging out and talking.
3) What is your favorite part of going to cons and what do you wish more cons did?
I love seeing the same people every year. I love how we're all there for the same reason. Most of all I love how everyone there just gets me.
4) What is your favorite convention and why?
Probably ConneXions because all my friends go there. And the banquet is always lots of fun. You can't beat Escapade for meta though.
5) Have you ever worked con com? If no, why not?
No. Mostly because I've never been asked. I don't live particularly close to any of the major cons (Even E-con which isn't that far away is too far for me to do any good as a con com member). One day I'd like to run my own con though.
