Last night's ep is the only one I've ever seen, so I'm not sure how helpful this recap will be.
Teenage boy lost his lizard-thing pet in the supermarket; his parents found out after it was gone that the kid had had a pet and got all lecturey with him; sister taunted him for missing the pet; pet came back.
Guy with a dead brother goes to see woman who tagged creature; she is initially weirded out; they get a signal from the tag and track it down the coast; in the middle of the tracking the guy calls his wife from the car, but she's pissy because she hears a woman's voice; guy and woman hop out of car and take pictures of creature swimming up stream; so do many people on the pier; the Coast Guard blocks the creature's path with three boats; the creature dives deep and discharges some kind of electrical energy which knocks out the lights on the pier; agent/doctor of some sort come up to woman and ask her to come with them; guy interferes and is arrested; woman is offered a job by the agent/doctor; she is incredulous because he/they tried to frame/sabotage/something her; agent/doctor says she was able to tag the creature and that was something they hadn't ever been able to do; I think she accepts.
Guy gets out of jail and calls home but wife refuses to talk to him.
