Huh, sounds interesting I might pick it up when I have some spare cash. Have you read Kirith Kirin by Jim Grimsley? One of my favorite LGBT themed F/SF novels plus a really interestingly complex magical system. I haven't picked up the sequels yet but heard they were just as good.
