So here's the story:
I've been talking for weeks about I was so glad that I had today off so I could The Two Towers today. So imagine my surprise when Monday night as I'm leaving the night shift supervisor tells me I'm on the schedule for Wednesday and off Thursday. So, I asked her to leave a note for the flaky HR secretary and ask her to change it. Well, yesterday my supervisor tells me I have to work today. So I assumed that she got the note and wasn't able to do anything about my dilema. Fine. It's an inconvenience because I made plans, but they were easily changed. Today I came to work and was greeted by the flaky HR secretary with the words "What are you doing here?"
Apparently the supervisor I had asked to leave a note didn't see fit to do it until this morning. So the flaky HR secretary in an attempt to be nice switched things around so I could have today off after all. And then didn't tell me. So now I have no plans for tonight, and all sorts of plans that I can't do tomorrow, and I'm going to see TTT tonight God Dammit!
