It's about damn time.
So, I put in for November 8,9 so I could go to Eclecticon. I got them approved and everything was great. Then my supervisor mentions to me that "Oh, I see you're off two days next week." Say what?
So I check. And sure enough I'm off October 8,9. So I go see the flaky HR secretary. I bring my time off approved paper (because I always keep them until I get the check from that pay period) and sure enough she had put it in the computer for the wrong month. It turns out she'd already covered me for the 8th(tomorrow) and she asked if I would like it off? So once I was assured I had enough vacation time left to still go to the con, I said sure.
This is also Karen's day off since she worked the weekend. And never ones to waste a golden opportunity (and since we were planning on doing it this Saturday anyway) guess who's going to New York to try their luck at the RENT lotto? I figure even if we don't get tickets, we'll at least have plenty of time to get good spots at the "Joey Barricade".
