Quick update

Headed down to South Jersey on Saturday to visit sorka42. Ran into a little trouble around Oldwick which involved my car being massively overheated. So I stopped at the nearest gas station, which fortunately for me is also a repair place. They told me I burned out my head gasket. Now I didn't know too much about cars, but I knew it was bad. Bad to the tune of $1400.00. It being late Saturday afternoon, there was nothing to be done about it then, so I called caorann and had her pick me up. We headed to Sorka's and spent an enjoyable weekend. I just called the place where I left my car and they told me that upon closer examination (now that the engine has thoroughly cooled) that it's probably not the head gasket. They're supposed to call me back and let me know.

I had plans to see Tony Lucca at The Bitter End tomorrow, but that's kind of up in the air until I figure out the car situation. I hope things work out.

The car

It was the thermostat and the temperature relays. $287. It's fixed and I'll be picking it up tomorrow.

So the plan for tomorrow is:

Wake up, have dad take me to the bank then to pick up the car. Possibly stop at the mall to pick up Animatrix DVD on the way.


Continue on from Oldwick to Bayonne. Catch bus to NYC. Hang out on Christopher St. for a while then go see Tony.
