Change of plans

Well, I went to get my car, but the sucky weather is going to keep me out of NYC. I just don't feel like hiding from the rain and waiting in line in the rain for the club to open. Plus I've got some house work and shopping to do, a story to format, and The Animatrix to watch. Right now, I'm having lunch with Dad. Or will as soon as it's made.

The Animatrix

The Animatrix is very, very cool.

I got a little bit more enjoyment out of the ones that expanded on the movie storyline, but I liked them all. Except for Matriculated which I didn't quite understand.

I particularly enjoyed how well Final Flight of the Osiris ties in with not just the movie, but with the video game as well.

And Kid's Story really explains that relationship that Kid and Neo have. Why Kid worships Neo and why Neo is so insistant that he didn't do anything. It makes "I didn't save his life." "You found me." and "You set yourself free" make a lot more sense.

Fic rec

So, misswindy posted part three of a Bright/Ephram future fic. I don't know know how I missed parts one and two, but thank goodness she linked to them.

Everyone should go read Through the Wire. It's amazing.
