(no subject)

I was supposed to go up to the lake with dad today to throw out some more racoon-damaged items. He decided he wasn't up to it, so I went to see War of the Worlds with mom instead. It wasn't bad. I might actually go see it again if it wasn't for Tom Cruise.

I've been lurking on the Gateworld forums. There are a lot of interesting discussions (with lots of interesting ways of spelling common words) going on. Among the many is the perpetual debate about whether or not the Ancients evolved on Earth. I haven't involved myself in any of these discussions (were I to, I would be in the 'not on Earth' camp). I find that as much as I desperately want to have these conversations with people, I want to have them in person. And it makes me kind of sad since I'm not going to any cons until November and won't get to have these conversations. I'm seeing starbuck3614 tomorrow, so we'll have some good conversation, but the closest I'm going to get to good SGA discussion for a while is when starbuck3614 and sorka42 come up for Cirque du Soleil.

Hopefully, when natlyn comes to visit in August, I'll get some good SGA discussion then too.
