work suckage

Work was one frustrating experience after another today. It started out with us being short-staffed, then continued on to a pile of work from yesterday that couldn't be done because all the doctors' offices were closed. Then there were admissions and visits from first year medical residents. It was just one great big ball of suck.

I went shopping after work, hoping some retail therapy would help. It didn't. So I've switched to beer. One thing I do know is that I'm definitely calling in sick on Friday so I can stay home for the SGA marathon.
