Last night shift is over!!!

Even better, I don't have to go back at 3 today!!!!

Yesterday morning as I was leaving, I was stopped by the director of Nursing. She'd seen my name on the schedule for 3-11 today and thought that it must be a mistake. She said she left a note with HR to tell them to find someone else. I told her that no, indeed it was true that I had said I would work, but that if they could find someone else I wouldn't object. I didn't think they actually would, but they did, and I'm happy.

No work until Thursday!!

Had a nice day off. Plan to have another tomorrow.

We had some awesome thunderstorms today. There was hail too. No damage as far as I can tell. They lost power at work tonight and are evacuating to another facility. They called to see if I could work tonight. I told them I could work until 2am, but they wanted someone for the whole shift. They got someone else, which is fine by me. The ligtning appears to have once again screwed up my network. Gotta call Dad tomorrow. Fortunately for me, one of my neighbors has neglected to secure his/her wireless network.
