Did some extra time at work today. Sort of. They're still on generator power from the storm last night. That means the air conditioning is down, so they moved all the people with respiratory problems to another facility. Which is just as well, since in addition to not being able to handle the heat, all of their oxygen concentrators have to be plugged in. So anyway, except for four people who were fortunate enough to get into empty rooms, everyone is in one dining room that's all set up with beds. Well, mostly beds. There are also two recliners and a mattress on the floor. It's like an old people refugee camp. It was actually kind of fun. It's a lot less people than I normally have to take care of, so I could really take the time I like to take with each of them. Also, I went in at 6, so most of the meds had already been given out. All in all, not a bad night. And it's not like I can't use the money.
