Fan fic pet peeve

Ok. I know that 'wifebeater' is an acceptable term for a white sleeveless shirt with a low neckline. But so is 'tank top'. So, I'm just gonna say that very few things turn me off faster than reading the word 'wifebeater' during a sex scene.

Actually the word 'wifebeater' is pretty much a turn off no matter when I read it.

Thank you! This has been a pet peeve of mine for a long time (too many years working on domestic violence cases). It makes me cringe everytime I read it.

Here in Australia, those things are known simply as "singlets".
