Through a fortunate series of events that involved my working until 5:00 this morning I have today off. Which is wonderful since when I got home, I found a message on my voice mail from Gamestop telling me that I could pick up my reserved copy of Star Ocean today. So, not only do I get a new video game, but I also have all day to play it (well, subtracting the hour or so I have to take my sister to pick up her car from the mechanic).

Does anyone know when the convention is over? I want to see a show, but I don't want to brave NYC while all the hub bub is going on.

Speaking of shows, Wicked has moved off the maybe list and onto the must see list. All the DJs on SIRIUS seem to really love it so they play stuff from it fairly constantly. So I went out and bought the soundtrack and I absolutely need to see this show. I've got a question for those who've seen/listened to it. Does anyone else cry like a baby during The Wizard and I or am I just a freak?

The convention goes until the end of the week. Friday *should* be the last day. Do NOT go into the city on Thurday the Shurb is going to be in to to accept the nomination, practically all of down town in going to be closed off.

the first couple times i listened to the wicked cd - i got teary about a dozen times. :) you're not just a freak (or well... maybe we both are. thats possible)

i still get teary during "for good" though. *sigh*
